AUS PUBS data use notice — version 1
The directory and its comparison tools are available to browse without charge. Public access and downloadable data do not grant a blanket open-data licence to republish the combined catalogue.
Original source rights
Venue records and reported observations are compiled from multiple public sources. Rights in source material remain with the relevant rights holders. AUS PUBS does not grant a licence to third-party text, images, branding, reviews or other protected material. Any reuse must rely on the applicable source licence, rights-holder permission or rights otherwise available under law.
AUS PUBS compilation
To the extent rights exist in original AUS PUBS selection, arrangement, annotations or presentation, those rights are reserved unless separately licensed. This notice does not claim exclusive ownership of individual facts or limit rights that are already available under applicable law.
Attribution and observation dates
When referencing a listing or comparison, link to its AUS PUBS page and retain its original source references and observation dates. Do not describe an import or retrieval date as the date a price was checked. Prices, menus and offers may have changed; confirm details directly with the venue.
Reuse and bulk redistribution
No general Creative Commons or public-domain licence is asserted for the full combined dataset. Before republishing or redistributing source material, establish the permissions that apply to that material. An unrestricted licence for one source does not automatically apply to the combined catalogue.
